Janette Pantoja

On August 7, 2022, my cousin Janette Pantoja went missing along with Juan Almanza. The pair had plans to return home that same night. Unfortunately, they never returned and hours following, their families contacted both Nevada County and Yuba County police departments with information on their last whereabouts. (Penn Valley, CA). Eleven days later, officers responded to a call from a man that led them to find the car Juan and Janet were last seen in.

Anyone who knew Janet can describe her as a wonderful and cheerful young lady. She was always welcoming to others and would go out of her way to help anyone who was ever in need. Most importantly, she was a strong backbone to her family, who had lost their father a year ago. It is incredibly heartbreaking that at 28 years old, Janet is no longer with us.

We are asking for support once again from the community and the public. Because of your help, we were able to do what the police didn't- locate my cousin. Words can't express how thankful we are for all your help, and any donation will be greatly appreciated. These donations will go towards all funeral costs and reuniting Janet with her family.
