Mom's Chemo Fund

As many of you know,  my mom is fighting Stage 4, Large B Cell Lymphoma. What you may not know is that this is a very aggressive form of cancer.  But if you know my mom at all,  you know she is a fighter. She is the strongest woman I know.  This is the first time in my life, I have seen her function at less than 100%.  It is very painful at times for my sisters and I to watch. But we know, she will beat this. 

We , my sisters and I, set up this gofundme account to help her with ongoing bills as her only income at this time is $306 a month from short term disability. Her insurance premium at the present time is $501 a month which is going to change to $1046 in April. She also has co pays among other medical expenses. So far her hospital bills, not including doctors,  outside medical procedure companies, or the chemo treatments from the cancer center, total over $222,000.  Again,  that total is her hospital stays only. The out of pocket money is ridiculous. 

She is halfway there, with 3 chemo treatments behind her and 3 more to go.  We set this account up, to not only help her financially, which she desperately needs at this time but more importantly, to relieve some of the mental stress and eliminate her from having to borrow money that she has no idea when she will be able to pay back.

Please know that every little bit helps. She received enough the first month to pay her insurance premium for the month.  That was such an emotional relief for her at the time. The second month was a little rougher as she had to borrow money to keep her insurance. Please donate if you can. Every dollar helps and every single dollar is greatly appreciated!
