Janice Arlene Ray

Janice Arlene Ray passed away March 31, 2023. She was born November 6, 1958 in Houston, Texas.

Janice had a strength that many were not aware of because of her humble spirit but she was a woman

who could do anything. Janice was a single mom who successfully and devoutly raised 3 boys. She loved

her grandchildren more than anything and was the best Nawnee to them.

Janice served as a district leader in the Quapaw district of the Boy Scouts. This was just one way she

helped her community. Her community was everything to her and she spent a lot of her time serving

and putting others first. She was a member of the Prestbyterian Church for over 30 years and was very

religious. Janice was also known for her work ethic, she worked as a Health Educator for the Health

Department.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons: James (Nicole) Moore, Michael Hafferty, and

Nathaniel (Kesha) Hafferty; grandchildren: Kenton Wells, Kael Thompson, Sawyer Moore, Madylinn

Moore, Ryleigh Hafferty, Jaxson Hafferty, Ellie Hafferty, and Declan Hafferty; sister, Carolyn Beaty; niece,

Stephanie Davidson, nephew, Matthew Beaty; and a handful of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Nolan and Cleo Jacobs; and her brother, Robert Walters.

We as a family are asking for financial help to cover the expenses of the funeral and entombment. Any amount would help.
