Janice Healing Cancer

On April 9th, at the age of 33, Janice was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Two weeks later it had grown to stage three and spread to her lymph nodes. Breast cancer in young patients tends to be more aggressive. At the oncologist clinics that we visited she was consistently the youngest patient in the room.

She is the mother of year and a half old daughter and is determined to conquer this mountain and thrive. She wants to live joyously and maintain her quality of life during her healing process. There are many forms of treatment that will aid in recovery and keep her strong and healthy to give her body the fighting chance it needs to defeat cancer.

Many of the therapies that would aid in building stronger immunity are not covered by insurance and are billed 100% out of pocket. For testing and treatments that are typically covered by insurance there is still an out of pocket portion she is responsible for and the bills are mounting quickly. 

The purpose of this fundraiser is not only to help Janice become healed and whole from cancer but she also has the strong desire to build a community where those who are seeking knowledge and hope can come to.  

We can create a world where those who want to explore alternative treatments in conjunction with conventional medicine is available. Studies show that cancer will affect 1 in 3 people just in the next few years. There is a bigger mission here to find ways to combat this and to create stories of success so that anyone who wants to heal their whole self during treatment can have access to all of the treatment options. 

There are ways to keep the body strong and healthy while healing. Janice is going to be healing cancer 5 days a week and will need to be away from home during this time. Amy funds donated will go directly to paying for the cost of treatment, nutritional food, and for cost of staying out of town, and outstanding medical bills.

Any contribution plays an important role in this journey. No amount is too small, no gesture unworthy of gratitude.
