Janice Alvarez's Memorial Fund

Janice Alvarez was diagnosed with a rare cancer (Choriocarcinoma).  Her smile was always the largest in the room. From the day of her diagnosis 5 years ago, through enduring multiple painful treatments, and even on the day of her early death, Janice never cried once. Refusing victimhood, Janice demonstrated daily a warrior's determination for joyful survival with dignity and integrity. Janice's courageous strength in spite of grave suffering is an example of perserverence to everyone whom loved her, particulary her devoted husband Rich whom stood firmly by her side, holding her hand until her final breath. Janice refused to grieve about her condition nor mourn for her fragile prognosis to selflessly prevent her family from suffering. 
Your donation will properly memorialize a life lost too soon and commemorate a bright soul that shall endure in us all forever. Any donations exceeding the funeral costs will go toward remaining medical expenses.
