Janie Coggins Medical Needs

Janie Coggins, our dear friend, was recently diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis. She will be having a very extensive surgery on December 28, 2023. We would like to bless Janie & Dave during this very difficult time as they have ALWAYS blessed others. We are hoping to raise $50,000 to help cover Janie’s deductible, other medical bills and to help with living expenses. Janie and Dave are both self-employed, so Dave has been taking some time off. Janie’s smile is contagious! She has touched so many people’s lives, and we hope to be able to do the same for her. Janie has always been a favorite teacher wherever she taught, and the students loved her fiercely! She has taught all three of my children (they are grown now), and my sister’s two grown sons. We would also like to set up a meal train following the surgery. For those of you that do not know, Janie has three handsome sons & beautiful daughters-in-law (Jason & Ashley, Drew & Bekah, and Matt & Kristin) and six precious grandchildren (Sam, Cooper, Cason, Chase, Payton and Luke). We know Janie & Dave will appreciate prayers, meals, and donations so very much. Janie has a heart of gold, always smiling and happy. She is optimistic and has 100 percent faith in God that through prayer, she can fight this aggressive form of cancer. Her favorite verse is “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit,” Romans 15:13.
