Janie Howard Wilson Elementary School

Our school, Janie Howard Wilson Elementary, had to reduce the budget by 5%.  In order to do this, we eliminated our custodial staff and hired a reduction in staff.  We also had to eliminate our music program, art and did not replace one 4th grade teaching position.

Due to Covid-19, more cleaning is required within our classrooms to keep students and staff free of the virus.  We are in need of one addition evening part time custodian who would work 4 hours per night and Mon-Friday.  Unfortunately, our budget will not sustain this cost of approximately $13,000.00
