Janine Wright Funeral Costs

Hey everyone,

 

On March 31, 2022, our mother passed away suddenly. (For those who didn't know my mother personally, she's the woman in yellow in the photograph. Also since it came up, the girl in green is my cousin, not my youngest sibling.)

 

Our mom had multiple disabilities, but she was always a strong, vibrant woman. She raised two children to adulthood and held multiple jobs throughout her life. She was a fabulous cook, an amazing mother, and a hilarious and vivacious person.

 

Mom passed away without any life insurance, so the funeral costs have to come entirely from her surviving family. Simply put, we don't have the funds to cover everything, and that's where we're hoping y'all can help pitch in.

 

We're asking for $16,000 for the funeral costs, and the breakdown is as follows:

 

Mom's Headstone: $2000-$3000

Funeral Home: $6000

Travel Costs to Attend the Wake and Funeral: $1,000

Funeral Flowers: $750

Funeral Casket: $2,500

Funeral Catering: $2,000

Remainder (GFM Fees, Unexpected Costs, etc.): $750
