Jardim Infantil - Manuel Xavier e Mané Sanjon
Donation protected
Hello everyone! We are fundraising for a pre-k / kindergarten school that is located in a third world country. The name of the school is Jardim Infantil - Manuel Xavier e Mané Sanjon. This school is located on the island of Brava. The island of Brava is located in the country of Cape Verde, also known as Cabo Verde.
This school is serving twenty children during the school year (10 months). The ages of the children range from three years old to five years old. Each child enters the program at three years of age and ages out after five years of age.
The students, staff of three, and the school are lacking even the most essential supplies and amenities. The government assistance is minimal, and there is just no wiggle room for additional funding that can be allocated specifically to renovating and upgrading equipment, learning supplies, quality of food/drinking water, toiletries, or even safe transportation to and from school.
Your help would mean a world of difference to the early childhood development of these children. It would also be a tremendously big help for their families by providing proper education, social skills, nourishment, stability, and safe transportation to and from school.
Our monthly needs equate to $625.00
- Monthly food / drinking water funding (breakfast, healthy snack, and lunch) $200
- Monthly meal prep/cook $100
- Monthly toiletry supplies / funding $15
- Monthly lawn / yard maintenance funding $20
- Monthly internet funding $40
- Monthly funding for school bus and bus driver $200
- Monthly essential cleaning supplies / disinfectants $20
- Arts and craft supplies $20
- Monthly water bill $10
