Jared Fights Stage 4 Brain Cancer

Jared is a 26 year old father of a 3 year old and fiance' to Myranda. Jared's journey began with headaches, then throwing up, then pain that was unbearable. December 13th Myranda took Jared to the ER in Lake City. They advised that Jared had a bleeding mass on the front, right side of his brain and would be transported to Gainesville. Once he arrived at Shands and completed the MRI, they learned that the mass was a 6cm tumor and surgery would be required. Around 1230 on December 14th Jared went through surgery to remove the tumor. They estimated the surgery to be 4-6 hours. 4 hours later Jared was out of surgery and the doctors said everything went exceptionally well. Jared woke up and was responding to all exercises and questions appropriately. The hospital sent the tumor for biopsy and they received the results today (December 15th) that has completely rocked their world. Jared has stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. Through my research I have found that the cancer Jared has is not curable. He will have to undergo a year of chemo and radiation treatment which is used to slow the rate that cancer grows and lengthen his time left with his sweet family. This means he will no longer be working and Myranda will be the only one working, when she is able. They are believing in faith and prayers at this time. We are all determined that the Devil will lose this battle and Jared will overcome this diagnosis because in the end, God is the ultimate healer. If you can donate, this money will be used for bills, groceries, gas to go back and forth to treatment, doctor appointments, ANYTHING they can use it for to help them get through this next year. It is going to be a rough road but they WILL overcome this.
