In the middle of Tuesday night’s Rangers broadcast I got a call that totally shook me: Emily told me our house was experiencing water damage and it was bad. She FaceTimed me in panic with rising water that covered nearly every square foot of the house. The damage was significant. A few days later, we learned that insurance isn’t covering any of it. .

.
I can’t really describe our emotions right now. As much as I feel like our life has been turned upside down, I take solace in the fact that we’re safe. We certainly know there are people and families dealing with far greater adversity than we are. .

The recovery process is going to be long and arduous and expensive but we’re thankful to push ahead with all of those people who have been so special in our lives. Thank you!
