Romans 1:16-17
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'But the righteous man shall live by faith.'"
Colossians 3:23-24
"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve."
Jared lived his life as an example of these verses. He was a young man who was not ashamed of the gospel, who lived by faith, and who worked for the Lord with all his might. We are certain he has inherited eternal life with Christ and we are so proud of the young man whom you all now know. We love him, we miss him, and we know we will see him again.
Many of you have asked if there was something that you could do to help in this season, and words cannot express the gratitude we have for your prayers, thoughts, messages, stories, pictures, meals, and numerous offers of your personal giftings this week. We wanted to set up a place where you could help the family with the unexpected expenses that are incurring at this time.
It is our hope that this fund can be used beyond the needs that we have, and go on to help others in need as well. We would like to see the abundance overflow into other areas of need in our community. Your generosity in word and in deed is more than we would have ever been able to fathom. We truly are blessed by you and we hope to continue to bless others with the story of how Jared lived for Jesus.
