Jared Hilton Accident Recovery Fund

Donation protected
My name is Josh Santiago, and I am one of Jared Hilton's friends. I've created this campaign on behalf of him and his family in his time of need. This GoFundMe effort has been established to help Jared with his mounting financial deficiencies during what will inevitably be a long and painful road of recovery.

On Friday, October 21, 2016, Jared was on a four wheeler, giving some of the younger kids a ride during a youth party. He turned to go up an embankment and began to lose control. He told the other riders to get off for their safety, which they promptly did. However, their departure caused the weight to shift. At this point, the four wheeler tipped back and rolled on top of him, tragically causing multiple fractures in his face.

He was taken via life flight to the University of Kansas Hospital where he currently remains in the ICU in stable but serious condition. Thankfully, the doctors determined that the damage was limited to his face. He will, however; need extensive reconstructive surgery, which will be done over a period of several months. This could easily run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Although Jared has health insurance, he is currently self-employed. As a result of not being able to work, his monthly living expenses will be continually mounting until he is fully recovered. This campaign is to help offset those costs and to ensure that things continue to run smoothly during this time of recovery.

For those who don't know him, Jared is the youth director and worship leader at New Life Pentecostal Church. He is dearly loved by all the members of the church. Jared is a hard worker and a godly young man. He is also a tremendous preacher of the gospel. Jared has been involved in a missionary endeavor in Africa.

We are humbly asking his friends and acquaintances to help support him in this time of need. Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. #ImWithJared
