As many of you know our hometown of Ventura, Ca. is on fire. We are heartbroken that a member of the Walden Surfboards family lost their home in the Thomas fire. Please help Walden Surfboards raise funds to help Jarrod Poirot, his wife Cary and son Alex get into new housing and start over.
The massive Thomas Fire that is ravaging Ventura, Ca. completely and swiftly destroying the Hawaiian Village apartment complex, their home of several years. Jarrod and his family got out at 4am with nothing but the clothes they had on their backs.
Jarrod has been the Walden Surfboards shop manager for over a decade, he is what makes Walden Surfboards the friendly, happy, stoked place that people love. We cannot imagine Walden Surfboards without him. I sure our customers can't either.
We want to raise enough money so Jarrod and his family can get into new housing and have all the basic things they need like furniture, appliances & clothes covered.
Anyone that makes a donation over 100.00 will get a Walden t-shirt & stickers pack. Please e-mail us your address and shirt size.
The need right now is urgent! Right now we need to get them money, down the road they may be looking for household item donations - but first we need to get them in a new home. 100% of the funds raised will go to Jarrod and his family for new housing.
