Jarryd's Tumour Journey

They have just sold everything they own to take a chance on life, dive deep into nature, seek a sense of freedom they both have worked so hard for and to get to know each other on a deeper level. Instead they are standed together with a baby, a dog and a gnarly health journey.

They had given up the lease on their house and about to go and stay with friends on their block until they leave within a few short weeks meeting their boy Beau along the way who is living with his dad.

On the 22nd of Feb Jarryd had severe back pain which the CT scan later on came back with a tumour the size of a grapefruit in his chest.

The confirmed tumour is compressing on his heart, spine, nerves, slowly collapsing his lung and protruding outside his rib cage which has been advised jarryd not work for 3-6 months.

The specialist has advised them both the tumour is very rare and they have not seen one of this size and nature before.

Wa's top cancer specialists/doctors are meeting to discuss once biopsy has been done but regardless major surgery will be performed.

The specialist has also advised moving to Perth to undergo medical treatment whatever that may be.

They are saying it may be to dangerous to operate on and they are hopeful and positive it is not cancer but all of their plans are over until this is all over with the C word still a possibility.

Whatever the outcome Jarryd and Tem still have a long road ahead until the biopsy which is unknown at this moment. Once this is done they will be able to make a more permanent decision of them moving but with no income from either on them and beautiful princess Sadie and Beau to look after I am personally on their behalf asking for your help.

We may not be able to offer to help with cooking, cleaning, housing options but I know right now financial stability will help in everyway.

As anyone would feel Tem and Jarryd feel so uncomfortable in myself starting this page but sometimes we have to ask for help and help is so needed right now.

Please also know Tem and Jarryd have had so many messages and calls and unfortunately haven't been able to get back to all of you for various reasons however they wanted me to let you all know they are so grateful and really appreciate the support each and everyone gives to them.
