Jase Reynolds Leukemia

On March 25th, the Reynolds families world was turned upside down. What was going to be a typical doctor’s visit, turned into a medical emergency visit to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and subsequently Jase and Donna were airlifted to Seattle Children’s Hospital. Jase was quickly diagnosed with Mature B-Cell Lymphocytic Leukemia, also called Burkitt Leukemia, a rare subtype of Leukemia in children. At the young age of 12. Treatment was started immediately but he has a long road ahead of them to overcome this blood cancer. Jase and his family will need to remain at Seattle Children’s Hospital for a minimum of five months for the first few phases of his treatment. As you can imagine, his parents, Donna & Abe, will need to be with him and will be unable to work like they have done prior, thus negatively impacting their income, not to mention the added medical expenses of their son’s treatment.

They will do what is needed to help their son, but I would love if we could take some of that financial burden off of them, so they can focus on Jase and what he needs to overcome this. All donations will go directly to Jase’s parents to support them during this time. Jase and his family are fighters! And with your support, they will do what they do best which is to, stay positive during trying times, show gratitude to those who love and support them and embrace the challenges they are given.

 

Donna and Abe really did not want to accept others money or make this but after much persuading I got the ok to make it.
