UPDATE:  The parents of Jasmine Melendez would like to thank everyone who has donated so far and at this time they have requested to keep open this GoFundMe account for attorney expenses and any other costs endured to help obtain justice for Jasmine. With the family's permission, the goal has been increased for those who are still wanting to help out the Melendez family during this difficult time.

I am Kimberly Munoz, a very close friend of Jasmine Melendez and family. I have been given permission by Jasmine's mother, Francesca, to create this GoFundMe on behalf of Jasmine and her family. I have been authorized to receive and withdraw funds on the family's behalf including delivering funds outside of GoFundMe. Any donations will be gladly accepted and presented personally to Francesca for medical bills, funeral expenses, and any others costs endured.
