Jasmine Sherman for President 2024 Contributions

Hey all, we have made every attempt at trying to open a bank account for the campaign. Wanting to make sure that people who deserve financial benefits were given an opportunity from us, we started with a minority owned bank in North Carolina. They could not handle it and would not open an account. We did everything we could to do a virtual opening of an account: No. Thanks to the Patriot Act, we could not open the account virtually, we had to either be in Boston, Miami or Los Angeles in person to actually open the campaign account. Next on the docket was an indigenous owned bank: they could not handle a Presidential campaign account either. So, we had to look to the “big boys”. One of them has taken all of our information to open the account, BUT have stated that it will take up to a month to open the account. Not, wanting to wait, we attempted to try another of the “big boys”. After sitting through an appointment, they could not do it with just the treasurer and needed both the candidate and the treasurer at the same location. We are actually located across country. So, forgive us for doing it this way. We are asking that if you want to contribute to the campaign, we are going to start this way at GoFundMe. Once the bank says we can open the account, we are going to take this down and use the bank for any contributions from then on. All money contributed for the Jasmine Sherman for President 2024 will be transferred to the campaign bank account. Through all of this time, every last Federal Election Commission (FEC) requirement shall be strictly adhered to and will be reported to the FEC, as required by them.

Thus, when you make a contribution, you will need to include your name, address and occupation if you contribute, so that we can provide the legal information to the FEC. Thank you for letting Jasmine speak for us. My suggestion is that we also look at that Patriot Act to find a better way to handle money.
