On Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 8:00pm Jasmine Madarang was taken away from our family in a pedestrian vehicle accident on interstate 8 in San Diego. She passed away and is now with God our heavenly father.
Jasmine was a 20 year old Junior attending San Diego State University (SDSU) and majoring in Engineering. She had been on the Dean's list since her freshman year and was selected to the National Society of Leadership Success upon entering her Junior year. She was also a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority during her Freshman and Sophmore year.
Jasmine had an outgoing personality with a heart of gold that could make anyone laugh. She had a lot of friends who she loved dearly and kept in touch since grade school. She was also everyones first friend at SDSU. She loved going to the beach, concerts, attending social events, and was a foodie. She loved her dog Maui, and had a colorful array of unique tatoos. Those that new her best knew that she was best friends with her father, immediate family, and goddaughter.
Jasmine we miss you dearly. You are the heart and life of this family. We watched you the last 20 years blossom into a beautiful lady full of grace. You had a zest for life which we admire. Losing your physical presence will be the most painful loss to overcome in our family. Sweet Jasmine, your friends and loved ones were blessed to have known you. Until we meet again, fly high sweet angel.
There are questions still unanswered regarding this tragedy. But the truth will always reveal itself.
This account has been established by her aunt, Rizza Madarang, and her sister Janiece Madarang to help ease the financial burden of Jasmine's father and family. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Our family appreciates your love, support, and prayers. Please continue to pray for our beloved Jasmine and family. We will keep you posted on any updated information. Thank you kindly, Madarang Family.
