Jasmine’s Hip Surgery Fund

hello! i’m raising funds to help out my dear friend jasmine! they’ve recently been informed by their doctor that they need hip surgery to help fix the debilitating hip pain they’ve been experiencing. along with that pain, they’re also dealing with a chronic disability that causes them to miss work and their job has been inconsistent and unhelpful in providing them disability accommodations. with the looming threat of job insecurity, upcoming surgery and other ongoing health issues, they desperately need financial support.

they owe $1100 by september 7th, the day of their surgery, so that goal is most urgent. the rest of money will go to their rent, groceries, and travel to and from doctors appointments. after surgery, they’ll be on crutches for 4-6 weeks, need physical therapy for 6 months, and will likely be in extreme pain and not be able to work much for the first month of recovery. i appreciate you reading all of this and if you have the means please donate and if not, please share widely!
