Jasmin's Breast Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Gabryela. I am Jasmin’s (Carmen) Figueroa niece. On June 7, 2023, we received the call that changed our lives. The doctor informed us the lump that was found was breast cancer. Unknown to us the journey we were about to embark on. The following week we met with her doctors and were told the plan. We were informed it was stage 2 with the need for immediate surgery and the high possibility of chemotherapy following. Her mastectomy is scheduled for 7/31/2023 where we will later learn her options for chemotherapy. As you can imagine the financial burden she will endure during this difficult time in her life. As of now we do not have a return-to-work date nor a recovery timeframe. We are asking that anyone who can help during this difficult time donate here. At this time, we as a family are asking that you respect her privacy and direct any questions or concerns to either myself or her sisters.
