Jason and Tara Rose Medical and Life Expenses

The first week of January my cousin, Jason Rose, and his wife Tara were in Atlanta working when Jason fell ill. They ended up in the hospital with the diagnosis of a very rare brain infection. They spent a week in Atlanta while doctors worked diligently to get his infection under control Jason stabilized enough to get him back home to Illinois. Unfortunately within one day of being home, Jason ended up back in the hospital where he has been ever since.

His brain continues to swell which has led to him losing all mobility and feeling in right side and slowly moving to his left. As time has gone on they have not been able to stop the swelling in his brain or control the infection from spreading. In the past several days it has been an emotional roller coaster and Tara, with Jason's awareness, has had to make the toughest decision in her life. They have decided to stop all treatments and transition Jason into Comfort Care.

His beautiful, strong, and amazing wife, Tara, has been by his side every step of the way. Jason does not have any medical insurance and Tara has been unable to work since they were in Atlanta. Nor do we know when she will be able to return to work. Her, and Jason, need our love and support more than ever right now!

I am setting up this fundraiser to help her cover day to day expenses as well the growing medical bills and laying Jason to rest when the time comes.

It is never easy to say goodbye to our loved ones, especially so unexpectedly. If you can find it in your hearts to help, we will be eternally grateful.
