Fundraiser for Jason Brewer

Since being admitted to the hospital on February 25th due to a life threatening complication of the flu, Jason Brewer has been in a medically induced coma and has suffered from kidney failure and hypoxia. He was kept alive via an ECMO treatment which artificially oxygenated his blood. After a plateau in his progress, things have finally started to look up; his kidneys are recovering, he can breathe more without assistance, and he is no longer induced. Despite this, the same difficulties that he and his family have met will continue to persist on his road to recovery. As sole provider, the decreased income coming into the household has made for some difficulty covering his expenses, medical and otherwise. As these expenses accumulate, previously held financial stores and donations have been used up. In his absence I have taken on his financial and parental responsibilities by paying his bills and caring for my teenage brother. Any donation you decide to make, large or small, will be a great help as we try to stay afloat in these already uncertain times.
