Jason Donovan could do with your help

Hi, I am a boating friend of Jason Donovan's and raising funds to assist him after a serious accident.

On Sunday 19th November, he was driving his boat on the Hawkesbury River with his son. The boat hit a submerged object, ripping the outboard motor off the boat and throwing both occupants into the water. Jason was knocked unconscious and, despite wearing a life jacket, ended up face down. Luckily Phoenix was able to turn him over and, with the assistance of others, get Jason to shore. He was airlifted to hospital with a major laceration to his head, a fracture in the neck and a broken sternum.

He is a great guy that will help out wherever he can. He is a very enthusiastic member of Speedboat Enthusiasts and Restorers, and the Bullet Owners Group. He has volunteered as a course boat at ski racing events on the Mid North Coast this year.

This fund-raiser is not about fixing his boat, this is about getting his family through this event.

Jason will be unable to work for a considerable time. This will place significant pressure on him and his family.

I hope you can spare a little to help Jason and his family through this difficult time.
