Jason Dworkin Memorial Fund

Jason Dworkin touched a lot of people in his life and nobody was more important to him than his family. A devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle he helped all of us in every aspect of life. He was extremely active in his community, getting signatures for local candidates, hosting meetings for them and really believed that political and community involvement in his home town was the way to change the world. He never hesitated to help friends and family with his time, fix-it know-how, and financially when needed.

He and the rest of the family have been struggling financially to keep the family home, help pay Jason's medical bills, and other expenses. He helped pool resources, purchased food for our 80 year-old mother, and he was working on keeping the family together under one roof. His death from pulmonary hypertension brought on by sarcoidosis not only leaves a hole in our hearts, but has left the family struggling to pay for the funeral, his household, and other expenses.

It has never been our way to ask for help outside the family, but in the spirit of Jason's generous heart, we are reaching out and every little bit will help and we will be eternally grateful.
