It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Murray of Panama City Beach, FL. He went to be with his Heavenly Father at the age of 44 on October 5, 2022. He grew up in Georgia and moved to Florida with his wife and children in 2019. Jason had a huge heart and loved so deeply. He never met a stranger and had a kind spirit about him. His smile was infectious, and his heart was full of joy. Jason loved his wife Bridget with every ounce of his being. There was never a moment that he let her feel anything less. Jason had 4 wonderful children. He loved them with all his heart and would endlessly play with them and poured all he had into them. His heart beat for his family. Jason was a hard worker and had an unbelievable work ethic. He was a good employee and even better leader. Jason was also a loyal friend. He loved people and loved hearing their stories. What hurt others hurt him, and what brought joy to others brought joy to him. He wore his heart on his sleeve for everyone. His heart was so big. Most of all he loved his Lord. He loved worshiping him and being in his presence. We are so blessed to know that he is with him today, praising him in Heaven.
Jason leaves behind his Wife Bridget of 12 years and his 4 children Bryce, Maddie, Asa and Bella. He also leaves behind his parents, Don and Jackie Murray and his sister Marlene and brother-in-law Jimmy. As well as his grandparents Richard and Lucille Murray and Sarah Ward. Also, he leaves behind many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfather James (Jim) Wagstaff and Grandmother Beverly Wagstaff.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Destiny Worship Center-(13300 Panama City Beach Pkwy-32407) on Friday October 14, 2022, at 2pm. The family will accept visitors at 1pm at the church. Jason was not a suit and tie man, he would be honored if people wore Georgia Bulldog shirts. If not just polo shirts will be appropriate.
