This is for Jason and Nichole Green:
As many of you know he has been fighting in the ICU since the 4th of September when he was placed on a ventilator. Unfortunately, he is starting to have complications with an infection in his lungs. Nichole was informed today from the hospital about getting him on a waitinglist to be placed on ECMO (stands for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. The ECMO machine is similar to the heart-lung by-pass machine used in open-heart surgery. It pumps and oxygenates a patient's blood outside the body, allowing the heart and lungs to rest.)
This is a last resort life support option they are preparing for, if he does not start to show improvements. This means he will need to be life flighted to a hospital that has an ECMO available. They plan to start calling different hospitals and facilities across the US to find any available machines.
These funds will go to them to help pay for these services and any travel expenses Nichole may need.
Nichole has not been working during this time & expenses are piling up. I’m hoping that this can help ease some of her stress during this difficult time! I will also have a link for her PayPal & Venmo, if you would like to donate to that instead of here.
