On Sunday, January 21st, 2024, tragedy struck as Jason, enjoying a peaceful day at home with his loved ones, suddenly choked while consuming a meal. Despite desperate efforts from his wife and son, Jason passed out, leading to a race against time to restore his breathing in the emergency room. Regrettably, medical tests revealed severe brain damage with no hope of recovery. On Saturday January 28th, Jason’s wife, Deanna, and son faced the unimaginable decision to let him go.

In the midst of this devastating loss, there is a glimmer of hope for others as Jason's selfless act of organ donation is providing a second chance at life to those in need.
