Jason J Eddy 2024 Starry Night Scholarship

Into the Starry Night Scholarship was created in honor of Jason J. Eddy, a complex man, who lived fast and hard, with an intensity of purpose. He sensed that his time on this earth would be shorter than most, and he pushed to extremes the things and people he loved most - anything fast with an explosive element of danger and intrigue. 

The 5th annual, 2024 scholarship for $1,000, is aimed at Boise School District graduating seniors who endeavor to pursue a career as a working artist, entrepreneur or visionary. The scholarship is administered under the direction of Boise Public Schools Foundation.

Any funding over the initial $1,000 goal will be forwarded to the following year's scholarship fund.

A 1991 graduate of Capital High school, Jason enjoyed designing custom fast art for his adventures on sled mobiles and motocross bikes as well as lighting up the

sky with custom firework displays. His creativity was boundless and intense, as were his personal relationships and business ventures. He was loyal and protective of his family and friends.

Vincent van Gogh was one of Jason's favorite artists. One of Jason's preferred past times was creating his own stars and constellations in the night sky. Thus, his family has chosen van Gogh's Starry Night as an inspiration for the Into the Starry Night Scholarship to honor the life and times of Jason J Eddy, aka Mr. "Mystry".
