Jason Mathew Hampton's Memorial Fund

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jason knew what a wonderful kind-hearted man he was. And to those of us that were his fellow Christian gamers, he was known as Shiny. I don't think he could have had a better gamer name, because you could tell that his heart shined for Jesus, his family and the love of his life, his bride Bianca.

 

But no words about him ring truer than those from his mother, Lisa.

 

"Yesterday morning our first born son Jason, went to be with the Lord. As we struggle to live with the sudden loss, I can't help but wonder why God chose to take him as he was just beginning his new life with the love of his life Bianca, looking forward to a bright future of family life in Texas.

 

We are grateful for the time spent with them over Thanksgiving seeing Jason the happiest he's ever been.

 

It's so hard to believe he's no longer here with us just 48 hours after leaving to return to Virginia.

We are so thankful to everyone for lifting us up in prayer and so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many family and friends who embraced Jason as a brother, son, husband, co-worker and fierce friend.

 

To our precious gift from God, mama Bear and Papa Bear loves you as much as the sky! Rest easy in the arms of God as we will surely be together again in heaven."

Jason is being laid to rest in Valley Mills, TX, with a Memorial in Virginia to follow.

All proceeds will go to his family to help with funeral, travel, and day-to-day expenses as they process through this sudden and devastating loss.
