Jason McCollum COVID relief

Donation protected

On behalf of our friend Jason McCollum, we are sharing his Covid journey and asking for your support.

Jason was hospitalized July 30th with COVID and double pneumonia. On August 2nd he was put on a ventilator. His condition continued to deteriorate, so he was transported to UAB on August 7th to receive additional care including ECMO. Jason’s had several difficulties during his journey including sepsis, a-fib and heart and BP fluctuations.

Before becoming ill, Jason was a healthy energetic 47 year old. He is a devoted husband and father to three young boys. Jason is active in the community serving as a coach for his sons’ baseball and football teams. Jason never meets a stranger and is always quick to engage in conversation.

The forthcoming medical bills and inability to work have put a major strain on the McCollum family. Please keep Jason and his family in your prayers. He is in God’s hands and we have faith that he will overcome this.

Any donations to the McCollum family will be greatly appreciated.
