Yesterday our family experienced a tragedy. My sister Abby lost her soul mate of 14 years, 8 of those married.

Jason was only 38 years old and leaves behind the loves of his life Nora 6 and Lucy 3. The grief and feelings of loss that my sister and her daughters must feel are beyond comprehension to me. The healing journey will be long and difficult. Thankfully my sister has an incredible support system, Dave and Val Jason's parents and his brother Chris. Along with Jeff and Denise our parents my self, my wife Jen and my children Alyssa and Jeffrey. Who will be there every step of the way for whatever is needed, while at the same time trying to process our own grief.

Anything that can be spared to help will be greatly appreciated as the standard bills and expenses don't stop but rather grow with the additional cost of being a single parent even after the funeral expenses are paid
