Jason O Reilly's recovery

As you might have heard my brother Jason O Reilly had a big scare last Monday morning and as he was rushed to Cork hospital because he had heart problems and is a very lucky man to be alive today.

He found out for the first time he has Brugada Syndrome since he was a child. He found out the hard way. It's where when your heart is under pressure it will beat irregular and cause a heart attack. Now he has to get a built in defibrillator under his skin, like a pacemaker.

As ye know he is self-employed, started a business 2 years ago and was struggling to get it off the ground. If any of ye know it takes 3 or 4 years at least to get any business going properly before you start profiting sometimes longer. He obviously has business loans and other bills etc that he needs to keep paying while he is recovering. And would be a shame to see it go to waste.

Headstones require a lot of heavy lifting so won't be doing much for a while. If we could all get together and give whatever we can afford just to keep the bills paid for him and he won't have to worry about that much for a while.

You know Jason, if it was you and he saw this he would do it no problem. If you are struggling yourself then don't worry. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to grow up with him and live with him all my life he is my brother and a gentleman. So I said I would try give him something back and not have him worrying about money at least it would be one thing not to worry about.
