Jason Owen's Funeral Expenses

Hello everyone,

On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at approximately 2:00 PM at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, Jason Owens carried his father's casket to a hearse waiting outside a side door. After placing the casket in the hearse, Jason walked away and met his aunt, who embraced him for comfort. At this time, Federal Marshals swarmed the parking lot and front entrance of the building. Telling everyone to step back. They called out "Jason Owens," and in the blink of an eye fired 6 shots. Jason hit the ground. The feds then made a barricade around him armed with AR-15s and told everyone they got one warning to stay back or arrests would be made. They looked into the crowd of grieving family members and said, "Stay back. We are trying to save him," but we all watched in horror as Jason lay trying to survive with no real medical aid administered. His 18 year old son Justin was standing next to where Jason once stood, in complete horror at what he had just witnessed. Jason's mother, only feet away, fell to her knees and cried out in agony for her son's pierced body. Jason was shortly pronounced dead, and a sheet was placed over his slain body. The US Marshals Office stated that Jason produced a firearm. Those of us who were close enough never saw this. Not to mention the fact that they never gave Jason time to reach for one before shooting. West Virginia State Police is leading the investigation into Jason's death.

I am Angela, the aunt of Justin Owens, Jason's eldest son. Justin's wishes are for his dad to have a proper funeral and burial. He is still in high school and cannot financially cover the entire cost of Jason's final expenses. If you can help in any way, it is abundantly appreciated.
