Jason Rago's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Sergeant Jason Rago of the Morton Grove Police Department was diagnosed this past spring with Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer. Despite undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, his tumor has enlarged in size and the cancer has spread; it was reclassified as being Stage 4 in August. Through the numerous hospital stays and debilitating symptoms/side effects, Jason has remained incredibly positive during his battle.
Jason has held many positions within the Morton Grove Police Department during his 23 years of service, including being one of the founding members of our department’s Peer Support Program. Members within our agency have raised funds and helped with meals for Jason and his family during this difficult time. However, we are seeking the generosity of others who are able to contribute to help relieve some of the financial pressures Jason, his wife, and three children are experiencing due to his illness.
On behalf of Jason and the entire Morton Grove Police Department, we thank you for any assistance you are able to provide him and his family and ask for your continued prayers and support.
