Jason Song - Devoted, beloved father and husband

As an update memorial services will be held Oct 14, 2023 at 11AM at Onnuri Church 17200 Jamboree Road. Celebration of life will be held 3-7PM at Jennifer and Randy Kaushek's home.

We are deeply saddened to inform that Jason Jihoon Song suddenly passed away, Thursday 28th Sept 2023 at age 50, a month before he was to turn 51, at his home in Lake Forest. He was a wonderful father, brother, son and husband and leaves behind a devoted wife, Sarah Sae Hyun Paik and their 3 year old daughter Josephine Hye nah Song, along with his parents (Andrew Chang Un Song and Susan Wonja Song), sister and brother-in-law (Jennifer Kaushek and Randy Kaushek) and niece and nephew (Claire and Alex Kaushek). As his passing was sudden, Sarah and Josephine are left without a primary beloved figure in their life. Sarah isn't the type of person to ask for help easily, so on behalf of her and Josephine, we are reaching out to the community for assistance.

Jason was kind, outgoing, social, and a fun and funny guy to be around that brought a light into every room he entered. Everyone will remember his love and devotion to his family and especially for his daughter Josie. The void he left behind will be impossible to fill. Please send as much love and light and strength as you can muster to Sarah, Josie, his parents, sister and rest of his family.

With Sarah's permission, I have set up this go fund me to help the family with funeral expenses and Josie's future schooling expenses that may come up. All money will go directly to Sarah.
