Jason St. John Memorial Fund

On January 9, 2021 we lost Jason St. John — a best friend, brother, son, confidant, hooligan. Jay cared deeply about entrepreneurship and he had dreams of owning his own company one day.
The impact that Jay has had on so many lives is incredible and it’s hard to imagine a world without his eagerness, excitability, dry humor, and passion.
To honor Jay’s legacy, we created a memorial scholarship to be awarded to a Duanesburg senior annually. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to fund an annual $1,000 scholarship for twenty-five years — a scholarship for each year of Jason’s life. This award is known as the “Jason St. John Entrepreneurial Spirit Award” and is given to the high school senior who has an affinity for entrepreneurial endeavors.
Our work to honor his legacy continued with fundraising for a bench at his alma mater, Alfred University. Jay's friends from college felt this immense loss as we all did and have, and are dedicated a bench to Jason that will live in the center of campus.
Jay will never be forgotten in our hearts, and our hope is that these memorials will continue his legacy forever.
