Jason’s Charity Swim
Hello Everyone,
My name is Jason and I will be raising money on behalf of my Grandad who sadly passed away in February 2021. Over the last 10/20 years of his life he had multiple direct debits set up to various charity giving a percentage of his income to those who needed it more. At his funeral my Grandma chose 1 of those charities to raise money for one last time for him. The charity has chose was Children’s Hospice South West. Unfortunately due to COVID only a hand full of people were allowed to attend meaning very little was raised. My Grandma knew we couldn’t have his last donation go to waste so she asked myself to think of an idea to raise as much as we could for this charity.
So, here’s my idea:
I have set myself a challenge to swim 10,000 lengths of my local pool before my Grandads birthday in October! I will begin on 12th April when the swimming pools reopen and swim as much as I can, when I can, all whilst putting on various fundraisers and events in between (safely of course). My goal is to raise £3,900 for the year my Grandad was born (1939).
Please support me by donating to this amazing charity and let’s hit this target!
