Hi all, I can't begin to imagine the sorrow the community of Jasper is feeling. I lived in the town from 2015 to 2021 and still have many friends who call Jasper home. With the recent fire ripping through, there will be many who need all the help they can get. I'm hoping to raise any amount of funds to help out those who need help from the displacement and evacuation caused by the fire. Should there be a charity set up to help the community, the funds will go in their entirety to that charity. If not, the funds will be spent on helping those who need food, clothing, and if enough is raised, shelter as well.
UPDATE:
As I've been in contact with a few friends and colleagues from Jasper, we all agree the best place to donate is the Jasper Community Team Society, under their Caring Community Fund donation. This is where the money raised here will be donated. Please donate directly to the JCTS here or at the link below, they are both the same website.
