Jasper Fire Relief for Megan

Hello, I’m Megan. I was evacuated a few days ago due to a wildfire that reached my town of Jasper, AB. I realize I’m asking for a lot of money (it’s been hard to suck up my pride and for this)…. However, the fire reached my home and I’ve lost everything that allowed me to run my business, recreate, and most importantly, my cat. I’m not sure where I will rebuild my life yet, but it’s for certain that rebuilding my entire life will be necessary.

I operate a business that serves seniors and adults with disabilities. Thousands of dollars I’ve put into acquiring tools to improve quality of life for my clients have burnt with the rest of my belongings. I’ll be doing everything I can to continue serving the Jasper community, but for now, I don’t know where to start. I’m not working with a savings account to back me up, and I’ve lost at least $25,000 in belongings.

I am not the only person in this position, surely. Anything that anyone can contribute is massively appreciated. I have my dogs at least and am sagfe in McBride.
