Jasper's Fight for His Life: A 2nd Chance for a Sweet Soul

Jasper is fighting for his life right now. Recently, what started as kennel cough rapidly developed into a severe case of pneumonia. He is so sick that he has lost his appetite and refuses to eat. His breathing became labored, and in urgent need of medical attention, he had to be rushed to the hospital. Jasper is now on oxygen and receiving intensive treatment. His condition remains serious, and the medical bills are mounting quickly.

The rescue that has been his safe haven, Canine Adoption Rescue League (CARL), is doing everything they can to help him, but like many rescues, their resources are already stretched thin. With the cost of Jasper's current care escalating, they need your support more than ever. Jasper’s story is one of perseverance and resilience. He was found running along the dangerous 126 freeway in terrible shape—suffering from severe ear infections and vision issues, the result of years of neglect. Despite all the pain and trauma, he showed nothing but love and trust to those who came to his rescue. His strength and sweetness have left an indelible mark on everyone who meets him.

After multiple surgeries to treat his ear infections and remove his damaged ear canals, Jasper lost his sight in one eye. Yet, even with his vision limited, he remained one of the happiest, most friendly dogs the rescue had ever known. His joy for life, despite everything, is a testament to his incredible spirit.
