Jasper's Next Adventure

Jasper was crowned Centerburg High School's 2023 Prom King. Unfortunately, some community members questioned his qualifications as well as voting practices at a school board meeting. Ultimately, this meeting became an outlet for some community members to share hatred and intolerance toward the LGBTQIA community. As a gesture of support for Jasper and all members of the LGBTQIA community, some alumni wanted to raise some money for Jasper as he embarks on his next adventure. In the Fall, Jasper will be attending Kent State University majoring in music education. He shared that his teachers were a source of support for him, and he hopes to be the same for the next generation.
