Hello,
My name is Jamie and my cousin, Jatzivy Sarabia was senselessly murdered on Saturday October 15th. Jatzivy was 18 years old; she had just graduated from Hanford High in June 2022. She was enrolled at CBC to start in January to become a radiology technician.
Jatzivy was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the big sister in the house. Always taking care of everyone’s needs. She was her mom’s “brain bank”. She knew all the logins and passwords. She kept the family on track. The family secretary.
Jatzivy loved doing her hair, make-up and lashes. She debated going to cosmetology school but decided Radiology was a better fit for her future. She loved her friends. She loved music. As a child, she was obsessed with Beyoncé, even wearing out the CD. Jatzivy enjoyed playing sports throughout her childhood, volleyball, cheer and played soccer for Hanford High. She worked extremely hard to graduate, she was the pride of her family.
Jatzivy is survived by her mother, Kimberly Sarabia, her sisters, Sierra, Anahi, Mia, Virginia, her brothers, Kevin, Renato Jr, her Aunt Kelly Arevalo (John), Aunt Jenny Colbray, Uncle George Pleasant (Jessica)
Her foster family Todd & Candy Smith, and countless cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Pam McNutt, grandfather Willy Barnes.
Services will be at Hillcrest Funerals, 2804 W Lewis St, Pasco, WA 99301
