Java Love Virtual Tip Jar

If you have ever…
-left Java Love saying, “That was the best latte I ever had!”
-had a bad day turned around by a well-placed joke from your favorite barista
-found yourself sipping on your second or third latte of the day, wondering how you’d ever be able to get anything done without your Java Love
-said to one of our baristas, “I’m not leaving a tip now, but I’ll getcha later!”
...then Java Love’s staff is asking for your help!
Remember two weeks ago when things were simpler? Basic hygiene products were abundant in stores. We didn’t think twice about what trips were considered essential or gathering in groups of five or more. Some of us went to Java Love to sit and drink our usual while watching friends and acquaintances from the comfort of those little round tables. Members of our staff would also come and hang on their days off!
Closing the stores was a difficult decision for both management and baristas. We were happy to provide quality drinks to our customers who wanted comfort and normalcy during difficult times, but we collectively agreed that encouraging people to stay home was the best way to guarantee the safety of our staff and customers.
If you’re working from home and you have a little spare change, please consider throwing it in our virtual tip jar. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover a week’s worth of our employees’ wages to help ease the burden of sudden unemployment. Many of us have been devoted Java Love employees for years just as plenty of you have been loyal customers for years.
We are in the process of figuring out how to responsibly continue operations and serve our community during this time of crisis. You can follow us @doyoujavalove on Instagram and Twitter, or on Facebook where Jodie and Kristine share updates on the business (as well as delightful coffee-based recipes). Online ordering is still available, so if you need beans we encourage you to continue showing us love!
Thank you!
