Javan & Mia ( Levey-Tomassetti) and Ponyo

Hello, My name is Lisa Tomassetti

together with Mia & Javan Id like to thank you for continuing to send love, prayers, concern, and more tangible items such as generators, food, water, transportation and very generous donations.

Day 4 update: Mia and Javan are still without power and furnace. Due to the height of the water and the very sandy nature of the water the electrical panel needs replacing.

On Sunday, severe rain and flooding created a dangerous situation in their town of Canandaigua. Unfortunately we are under weather emergency again tonight and tomorrow with more rain and winds expected. Javan is currently applying for temporary housing. We are concerned that this next storm may complicate things further. Both cars are undrivable and have just been towed.

For those who are just joining us

Mia & Javan are a young couple just starting out. They’ve worked so hard over the past 3 years, doing all of the work themselves to make this house a home.

Both Mia and Javan serve their community. He, as a music therapist, she as an elementary school teacher.

I am humbly asking for any help you can give. Mia & Javan will need to replace their furnace, water heater, and do foundational repairs, as well as environmental clean up from the ground water. They will likely need to repair both cars due to the water levels. They just discovered muddy water inside the cars . They will also need to replace all shed items.. lawnmower etc.

Update: The fire department was at their house and removed nearly all of the 5 ft of water.
