Support for Javi’s recovery
Hello, friends, family and good people! As many of you know my son Javier was in a devastating car wreck on July 15th. In this past month my family has been through it ALL. We waited by Javis bedside praying that God would give him the strength to come back to us. Through some miracle he did! For that we are eternally grateful! It was an amazing day when the hospital released him, and we were able to reunite him with his son.
Although his recovery is coming along well and Javi is working very hard there are many hurdles ahead of us. Javi is in need of ankle surgery to allow him walk again and continue his therapy. These past few weeks it has been rough for him to transition from being the sole provider of his household to needing care and support from family. Unfortunately, Javi was without insurance so a down payment will be neceassry to move forward with his surgery and his physical therapy will need to be paid out of pocket.
The accident caused Javi substantial head trauma and has impaired his cognitive abilities. We work with him daily to get him where he needs to be. Although there are some things he can’t remember Javi is aware of how lucky he is every day. On behalf of his family I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving whatever you can or sharing this post.
