Javier recently went into the hospital to be seen for an infection on his foot. What was thought to be something minor, ended up later taking his life. He unexpectedly, while being treated for his foot, was discovered to have complete kidney and liver failure.
Last week, the doctors told his wife Samantha that he had 3 days to live, but she refused to believe it and continued to pray that we would wake up. Per the doctors advise, she went ahead and called the family together and invited anyone who was able to join at the hospital for prayer. Many of Javier’s family and friends were there to provide comfort for each other, share laughs and tears and of course pray for his recovery.
Miraculously , on the 3rd day, he woke up and actually started to get better- in fact was alert and talking, which was more than he had done for the past week. Jav held on for another 6 days- at which point he began to bleed internally and lost his struggle and earned his wings.
Anyone who knows Jav knows he is a family man. He loved his family more than anything. Especially his kids and grandkids- they were his everything. But who really prepares for something like this at the age of 45.
So to help the family with the burial cost I have set up a Go Fund Me page and am reaching out to those who can help. Everything counts, no donation is too small. Please, help us get the funds together for this family so they can put their son/brother/dad/grandpa/cousin/friend to rest.
