Jav's Funeral Expenses

Hi, everyone. My names Gaby, I am one of the many who are lucky enough to have been able to call Jav my Tio.
To give some background, my Tio, Francisco Javier "Jav" (pronounced: Hob) Arciga grew up in Los Angeles. At the young age of 16, he was shot and doctors didn't think he would make it. Later, he beat all odds by living. However, he was paralyzed from the armpit down, and was disabled due to the violence. Doctors said he would not live a full life, that he would live no later than 36 years old. Again, he beat all odds and lived beyond that expectation. Nonetheless, this did not come without its struggles. He was diagnosed with cancer and, once again, not expected to survive. After all, the complications that come with being in a wheelchair for so long will be highlighted during the process of fighting cancer. Even with organ failure and other complications, he beat cancer!! Once again, he fought and lived. It was like he was meant to stay with us for a reason.
Fast forward to most recently, he became more sick more often and eventually found out he had cancer again. Except, this time, it was at a different spot and started to spread very quickly. Unfortunately, on November 27th, at 3:39pm, my Tio Jav passed, surrounded by all those who love him .
My Tio was really the type of person who would not only give you the clothes on his back, but also quite literally let you live in his one bedroom apartment if you had no where to go, for free. Even though he did not have much, he would give it all away of it meant you were going to be okay. Not just to family, but friends, strangers, and neighbors. He taught me to always treat people with respect and dignity, no matter their disability, challenges, struggles or backgrounds. He taught me that everyone deserves a second chance and that even those that society deem "bad", deserve to be treated and spoken to with dignity and respect. His resilience and strength showed us all that even when shit hits the fan, you keep your sense of humor, make the most out of the situation, and fight it. I believe that his time was extended so that he can be with us and bless us with his energy, love and care. All of which was always 100% genuine and straight up. We love Jav and will miss him so, so much. His memory will definitely live on, as his heart and life was just too big and too joyous to ever forget. We know that he is resting in peace and walking with his parents: getting to know his Mom and catching up with his Dad.
Our family is asking for donations to help give this amazing human being a beautiful send off. For those who prefer an alternative, I also have Venmo @gabytiscareno13 and Zelle (send me a PM for address, please)
Anything really does help. Your love and good vibes are always appreciated too.
