Phi Kappa Psi

Prestigious alumni of Phi Kappa Psi,
Phi Kappa Psi Texas Beta has seen tremendous chapter growth over the years. With more active members than ever before, it is a great time to be a Phi Psi. However, with the lodge beginning to age from constant foot traffic and wear and tear, additional repairs and improvements must be made to match our growing trend of membership.
With every big event held at the Texas Beta chapter, we are seeing constant growth in alumni support! At our previous Founder's Day event, Mayor Alan Henry and former dean of Texas Tech Law School Walter Huffman were in attendance, along with countless more treasured alumni whose support helps make this chapter so great. We cherish the opportunity to welcome back alumni into the fraternity; we would love advice and guidance on what made their fraternity experience so great, and what current brothers could be doing better to improve the outlook and image of the chapter.
We at the Texas Beta chapter want to reach out to alumni (And all who are interested) as we are currently beginning the process of conducting multiple renovations to improve the integrity of the lodge. There are numerous renovations we are looking to start on, however money from dues needs to be spent elsewhere for the time being, such as payments toward our national bill, and operating expenses of the house such as utilities and internet. Such payments are necessary in order to keep our chapter running at full operation.
We are looking to raise $20,000 to fund specific renovations to the lodge. Here is a list with our top priorities:
1.) Backyard Fencing
2.) Re-Painting of the Great Room, Kitchen and Foyer
3.) Renovation of the Kitchen
4.) Landscaping of the front and back yard
Any donation toward this goal would be extraordinarily helpful to the current brothers of our chapter and the future brothers that will soon walk through our doors. By tightening these areas up, we will be more likely to get more new members, which leads to more active brothers in the chapter.
Alumni who are interested in sizable donations are eligible to have their name bestowed on the area in which they improve, whether that be the sports court, kitchen, or any improved area of the lodge. Please reach out to me personally at [email redacted], and we can discuss more personalized rewards and recognition.
On behalf of all brothers in our chapter, we would like to say thanks! Live ever, die never.
