Jaw and hard palate surgery for Joe

Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, Joe has been silently suffering from extreme discomfort due to a malformation of his hard palate for a large majority of his adult life. The past 5 years have gotten worse, resulting in dangerous sleep issues, chronic TMJ and obstructive sleep apnea.
Over the past three years we have accumulated countless hours visiting specialists, trying sleep devices, sleep centers and even drilling hardware into the hard palate in an attempt to crack it. Sadly, these attempts have not worked and have highlighted the urgency of Joe receiving invasive surgery.
We found an amazing surgeon and clinic in Seattle Washington that will preform the procedure, unfortunately for Joe, this will be completely out of pocket. A large lump sum is needed as a deposit to insure he has a spot at this clinic.
Joe is a very private person, but we know that we are stronger together, and that he does not need to go this journey alone any longer. That is why I made this GoFundMe, so that we as a collective can insure that Joe gets the medical assistance he so desperately needs.
We are attempting to raise as much as possible, at least to get the major deposit of $2,000 lump sum out of the way. Our date for this portion is by June 1st, 2021. The remaining balance of $7,000 will be due in payments after the surgery at the end of June, 2021.
